What are these artifacts?
These are all bird eggs! They are part of Karshner Center's Natural History collections, and are sometimes on display in the Science Gallery. The large egg is 5½ inches long by 4 inches wide, the middle size eggs are 2¾ inches long by 1½ inches wide, and the smallest eggs are ¼ inch wide and ½ inch long.

Ostrich eggs take about 42 days to hatch, hawk eggs can take from 28 to 35 days, and hummingbird eggs only take around 15 to 18 days.
