This bolt of cloth was made in Nigeria, in West Africa.

Of course, cloth might be put to any number of uses; in fact, this cloth was given as a bridal gift, a time traditionally symbolizing new beginnings and "raw material." We do not have information on when it was made, but it was donated to the Karshner Center in 1977.
