On Earth, sulfur is most commonly found in areas with volcanic activity, and near hot springs.
What uses does it have?
Sulfur has been known since ancient times by many cultures, many of whom found ways to use it for medicinal and cosmetic applications. Today it is used in the production of fertilizer and pharmaceuticals, among other things.
