When do you think it was made?

This colorful bowl was made in China, in the 1920s! It was donated to the Karshner Center in 1982.

The beautiful art work decorating the surfaces of this bowl were made with a process called cloisonné, in which colored patterns are created by placing delicate wires on the object's surface and filling the spaces in with enamel. The technique has been in use since ancient times all over the world.
