Answers:
What do you think this spoon is made from?
This spoon was carved from the horn of a local animal, perhaps a goat or a cow. You can still see a hint of the horn's curved shape in the shape of the spoon, but the original color has possibly been altered by the use of a natural stain.

This spoon was made by Swinomish Indians, a tribal community living around what is now Anacortes, Washington. It was donated to the Karshner Center in 1930.
