Karen has been with the Puyallup School District since 1998 in various support positions.  She has been at Karshner Center since the 2013-14 school year. She is the first person you will encounter when you call, visit or email us.  She schedules and coordinates fields trips and events at Karshner Center as well as supports the Arts Education department for the Puyallup School District.

In her spare time, Karen likes hanging with her family, friends and fur baby, playing in the many lakes around our area and helping in the community.

Josh has been working with the collections at the Karshner Center for three years, helping keep the artifacts in good shape and accounted for. His background is in history, but he has also spent a great deal of time in the antiquarian book industry. In his spare time he likes to read and play the piano.

Diane has been with the Puyallup School District since 2015. She is usually the last person at the museum so she cleans up after every one, setups up for the following days events and turns the lights off and arms the building on her way out the door.  Prior to the school district she worked 30+ years for the News Tribune in the production department.  In her spare time she loves to spend time with her grandkids and her family. She also likes to work in the yard and enjoys the rewards of her labor.
